in the history of bodybuilding supplements?
It seems every time you turn around there’s a new protein popping up
or some new twist to an existing product. Every company claims to have
the next best protein source ever developed. Well it looks like the researchers
at Cytodyne Technologies have actually come up with the first “true” protein
breakthrough of the new millenium. Introducing Methoxy-Pro an all new highly
advanced “muscle-synthesizing” protein formula that’s so powerful its guaranteed
to help you pack on up to 10 pounds of rock-hard mass in just 30 days!
And Cytodyne is so sure this new super anabolic protein formula will
give you the results you’ve been looking for, its backed up with an unprecedented
iron-clad guarantee for dramatic results in four weeks or your money back!
Now that’s confidence!
Methoxy-Pro is being called “the most powerful muscle building protein
formula ever created” by top competitive bodybuilders and athletes. What
makes this protein such a muscle building powerhouse? To answer that question,
we’ll tell you about the revolutionary anabolic/anti-catabolic features
that only MethoxyPro offers.
Methoxy-Pro is supercharged with mega-potent levels of two of the world’s
most powerful legal anabolic compounds. These two compounds are then combined
with the most bio-available protein powder in existence. As most athletes
know, it’s the combination of “bioavailable protein and anabolic compounds”
that really ignites rapid muscle growth (taking one without the other is
kind of like taking a bath without soap).
First we’ll look at the two anabolic compounds and why they are so critical
for rapid muscle growth. The first compound is 7-Isopropoxyisoflavone or
Ipriflavone. This compound has been on the market for a short period of
time and the athletes using it are reporting excellent results in lean
body mass (muscle). The Hungarian pharmaceutical company Chinoin, the world’s
leading company in flavonoid research and knowledge, developed Ipriflavone
in the early 1970’s. Chinoin was looking for nutrient partitioning agents
that would help shuttle vital nutrients away from adipose (fat) tissue
and toward proteinaceous (muscle) tissue. What they discovered was that
Ipriflavone did all this and more. Here are the most interesting points
of information from the original patent:
- First, the patent talked about anabolic and
weight-gain promoting compositions, the most potent of them being Ipriflavone.
The studies were done by Chinoin’s researchers and not published in journals
due to the proprietary nature of the results, but it takes a lot more scientific
proof to get a U.S. patent than it does to get published in a journal. - Most studies were conducted on animals in the
beginning. The most dramatic result was increased nitrogen retention, regardless
of the species involved in the study. This is one of the main actions of
anabolic steroids, increased nitrogen retention. And to top off this extraordinary
finding, the researchers found no estrogenic effects, actually there were
no negative effects at all on endocrine tissue. No matter what type of
animal was used (mice, rat, chickens, etc.), what age they were, or the
dose given, there where no changes to the endocrine system or tissue. The
animals just got more muscular!(much more muscular!) Furthermore, Ipriflavone
had no negative effects on testosterone production, shrinking of the testicles,
or aromatization, all of which are possible side effects of anabolic steroid
use. To verify these findings, the researchers dissected many of the animals
and found the levator ani muscle, the chief muscle of the pelvic diaphragm
went up in weight while the seminal vesicles remained the same. If the
seminal vesicles increased in weight, Ipriflavone would have had androgenic
effects, but these results clearly concluded none whatsoever. - Ipriflavone, like steroids, was found to have
very strong cortisol-suppressing effects. The researcher found that
identical
doses of anabolic steroids did not have stronger effects on cortisol
suppression
than Ipriflavone. The studies showed that all animals, regardless of the
species, gained incredible amounts of lean body mass! The animals used
in the studies were calves, cattle, pigs, poultry, rabbits, and guinea
pigs. At a dosage of 2 grams per 100 kg (220 lbs.) of ipriflavone
fortified
feed, the lean body mass increases ranged from 7% to 20%. Just think if
a 200 lb. bodybuilder put on 10% lean body mass, that’s 20 pounds of
muscle!
The periods of time for the studies ranged from 1 to 4 months and the
animals
given Ipriflavone didn’t receive more food. This is important because
the
researchers concluded that Ipriflavone allows for less food to be taken
in without effecting mass gains. - In a forced swimming to exhaustion test, animals
were weighed down with an additional 3 grams per 100 grams of bodyweight.
All the calories were the same for the experimental and control groups,
but over a 45 day period, the Ipriflavone treated animals were able to
swim a full 33 minutes longer than the untreated animals. Remember, these
tests were conducted to exhaustion, once you stop swimming you sink, and
unless someone rescues you, you die, and therefore they conclusively document
the remarkable ergogenic effects of this powerful compound. - In another study, researchers checked for Ipriflavone’s
effect on calcium and phosphate retention which are indicators of anabolic
activity. The subjects used in this study were given 20 mg per kilogram
of bodyweight and their retention was significantly increased. This finding
is one of the main reasons Ipriflavone is now used in many countries as
an osteoporosis drug. - In human studies with wasting patients, Ipriflavone
increased lean body weight between 2 to 3 kg (4.4 to 6.6 lb.) in just a
few weeks! These studies documented Ipriflavone’s extraordinary anabolic
effects in humans. And the animals studies confirmed the safety of the
compound. Mega-potent doses of up to 4000 mg per kilogram were given to
animal and there were absolutely no negative side effects. They all kept
gaining massive amounts of lean muscle! - These findings made the researchers suspect
the cause of all this muscle growth was the dramatic increase in nitrogen
retention. Finally they tested animals and on the 20th to 30th day of the
study, the nitrogen excretion was significantly lowered, thereby confirming
this powerful and immensely critical anabolic property of Ipriflavone.
As all athletes know, positive nitrogen balance is “the key” to dramatically
increased muscle growth.
The second super anabolic compound is even more impressive than the
first. This one is 5-Methyl-7-Methoxy-Isoflavone or Methoxyisoflavone.
Developed by the same company, Methoxy is quite possibly the most powerful
legal anabolic compound ever created- period! Once again, the studies were
not published, but the government was obviously quite impressed with the
data to justify issuing a patent. The patents filed in the U.S. and Europe
in the late 1970’s were for its use as an “anabolically effective compound
for use as a pharmaceutical or feed additive”. Here are some of the findings
from the patent of this super-potent anabolic compound:
- In the same rat levator ani test used with
anabolic steroids to find their anabolic to androgenic ratio, the researchers
found that Methoxy was extremely anabolic, even more so than Ipriflavone,
while showing absolutely no androgenic effects. - In animal studies, no matter what the species,
large amounts of lean body mass were gained in 30 days and they were accompanied
by an increase in vitality. All this without androgenic effects or endocrine
tissue alteration. What this means is that not only can you significantly
increase muscle size, but you’ll feel incredible! - Once again, like Ipriflavone, in human studies,
incredible amounts of lean body mass were achieved in wasting patients
taking Methoxy. These patients, who have extremely high cortisol levels,
showed a marked reduction in cortisol while calcium, phosphorus, potassium,
and nitrogen retention were all significantly increased. All this adds
up to more muscle. - Researchers concluded from their studies that
identical doses of anabolic steroids do not exert anabolic effects stronger
than those of this compound! Now that’s a powerful statement!
In addition to this research data, world class athletes who have been
lucky enough to get their hands on this super anabolic compound have reported
increased recovery times and strength gains that correlate to the increased
muscle mass.
And the best part is that the powerful protein synthesizing and nitrogen
retaining effects of these two compounds are believed to work through completely
different pathways, therefore making them working synergistically with
each other for even greater gains than could be achieved individually
The final part of this bodybuilding breakthrough is the protein itself.
Cytodyne uses only the highest quality, most bio-available whey protein
powder in existence. Cross flow micro/ultra filtration is the process used
in making the whey protein with the highest amounts of critical micro-fractions
and growth factors and keeping the protein more undenatured than any other
method of processing. Most other proteins are “heat processed” which denatures
the protein and cross-links the amino acids, destroying critical micro-fractions
necessary for muscle growth. Because CFM processing is so precise, you’ll
get the highest levels of branched chain amino acids, glycomacropeptides,
and all the other growth factors that make whey protein the most anabolic
protein known
But Cytodyne’s researchers weren’t satisfied with having a protein that
was just better, they wanted a protein that was unequalled and unparalleled
by any product ever offered. Simply stated, they wanted to make the best,
most anabolic protein money could buy- so that athletes would be guaranteed
to experience a noticeable increase in lean muscle mass. For this reason,
the researchers added exact levels of critical muscle-building amino acids
to enhance the amino acid profile to the most perfect level possible for
anabolism. Take a look at these exciting additions:
- Glutamine peptides are added to help with nitrogen
retention, protein synthesis, increased recovery times, as well as all
the other positive effects glutamine has on the body. Once glutamine is
depleted, it is virtually the last nutrient to be restored to pre-stress
levels. This is extremely important because many experts feel the amount
of glutamine in muscle is the single most important factor influencing
the rates of protein building and breakdown. The peptide form of glutamine
is used because of its superior absorption. Glutamine is also a potent
cell volumizer like creatine but not quite as dramatic. By increasing the
water inside of muscle cells, glutamine increases protein synthesis. Another
often overlooked reason to use additional glutamine is that it will actually
enhance the biological value of the rest of the protein in your diet. This
is accomplished by reducing the use of other amino acids in these proteins
to make glutamine. Then the other aminos are utilized in the anabolic processes
in the muscles. - Taurine is the second most abundant amino acid
in muscle, behind only glutamine. Taurine has potent muscle cell volumizing
effects as well as powerful insulin-mimicking capabilities. Both of these
actions can help to enhance protein synthesis and taurine has been shown
to stimulate glucose uptake by over 50% the capacity of insulin. Taurine
is also a powerful anti-catabolic amino. It has been shown in studies to
reduce muscle breakdown by reducing the highly catabolic chemical 3-methyhistidine
by 20%. - BCAA have been added to saturate the muscles
with one of the most important factors for muscle growth. Whey proteins
are already high in BCAA’s, but when training at high intensity, it is
very hard to achieve optimal levels. BCAA’s have been proven in numerous
studies to support protein synthesis, prevent muscle breakdown, speed recovery,
and even can be used for fuel when glycogen stores have been depleted. - L-Glycine is often overlooked as an important
amino acid because it can be formed in the body from choline in the liver
or from threonine and serine. The truth is that glycine is one of the few
amino acids that helps to spare glucose for glycogen storage and energy.
It is necessary for the synthesis of hemoglobin, the part of blood which
is used for oxygen uptake and release. Glycine is also utilized in the
processing of RNA and DNA, helps in healing wounds (when you workout you
actually wound your muscles), helps to utilize and clear fats in the blood,
and can even stimulate the release of growth hormone. As you can see, glycine
is used in a number of essential processes, especially for athletes, and
should probably be considered conditionally essential. - L-Arginine has been used for years for its
ability to increase the release of growth hormone. This is very important
for the athlete looking to increase muscle mass and decrease body fat.
But most importantly, scientific studies indicate that arginine can also
significantly increase nitrogen retention, and as you know, nitrogen retention
is a key to muscle growth. - L-Histidine is called a conditionally essential
or semi-essential amino acid. What are the conditions when histidine is
needed? It’s essential for periods of growth or whenever there is need
for tissue formation or repair! Now that sounds like something every bodybuilder
needs. Histidine is also involved in blood cell production, zinc absorption
and transport into tissues, insulin sensitivity, prostaglandin synthesis,
immune function, and myelin, the sheath protecting the nerves. - L-Methionine is a sulfur amino acid and whey
proteins have lower level of these types of aminos. Sulfur-rich proteins
have been shown to speed recovery of fatigued muscles from exercise and
exertion. Methionine has also been found to accumulate in skeletal muscles
and is used as an indicator of nitrogen retention (the more methionine
in the muscle cells, the higher the nitrogen retention). - L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid
which is converted into l-tyrosine and then converted into different neurotransmitters
and hormones such as adrenaline, norepinephrine, dopamine and thyroid hormones.
It is one of the amino acids whose levels are low in whey proteins. It
has been shown to enhance alertness, memory, and even control chronic pain. - L-Tyrosine is also converted into many different
neurotransmitters and hormones (see l-phenylalanine). It is the primary
precursor to CCK (an appetite suppressing hormone) and is a precursor to
important stimulants to the metabolism (thermogenisis) and nervous system.
It has been shown to have minor GH stimulation properties, is converted
to make thyroid hormones, and enhances alertness and memory.
To complete this revolutionary new formula, the researchers fortified
it with a precision blend of key vitamins and mineral that are involved
in protein metabolism to make sure the protein is absorbed and utilized
to its full capacity. This rounded out Methoxy-Pro and put it light years
ahead of any other protein on the planet!
With this extensive breakdown of all the key points of Methoxy-Pro,
it becomes clear why this all new “highly-anabolic” protein is quickly
becoming the #1 choice among top level bodybuilders and world-class athletes.
The synergy of these two clinically-proven anabolics combined with this
super enhanced, highly bio-available protein makes Methoxy-Pro the most
advanced muscle-building product of its kind ever created!
